Clogged duct starts fire at wood processing plant in Franklin County

A clogged duct started a fire Wednesday at a wood processing plant in Franklin County.

According to authorities, the combination of the wood chips in the ducts along with the high temperature and humidity started the fire.

Authorities said everyone was evacuated from the building when the fire department arrived and no injuries were reported.

The cause is still under investigation, but authorities believe it was accidental.
